First, cycle through the flat countryside north of Bangkok to the historical city and temple ruins of Ayutthaya then visit a golden seated Buddha on the way to Uthai Thani. Riding top quality hybrid bikes on sealed, rural backroads, and a few packed dirt trails, the terrain is mostly flat at first, with some rolling hills closer to Chiang Mai.
